The Gray Line (Chelemanushi) is adapted from Manik Bandopadhyay’s same-titled story. It is based on Bangladesh perspective after partition to till now, which describes the interrelationship, tension and communal harmony among Hindus & Muslims. Two children come from a Hindu and a Muslim family shows us the path of communal harmony through their innocence.
Saki Farzana was born in Bangladesh. She studied honours in Theater and Masters in acting from University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Now she is studying M.Phil on film. She is a freelancer as actor & director in Film, TV, Radio and Theater. The Gray Line is her first directed film as an independent filmmaker.
